Who we are
This website is run by Amra Tech Global Ltd, a company based in Accra, Ghana. If you have any question about your information, or want us to remove it, email us at social@amratechglobal.com.
What we collect, and why
If you choose to join the tester list, we collect the email address you enter, and, if you choose to tell us, which of four broad groups you belong to (a woman who would like to test Amra, a clinician or researcher, an investor or partner, or just curious). That is all this website asks you for. We collect it for one reason: to talk to you about Amra and, if you asked to test it, to tell you when your turn comes.
We do not collect any health information on this website. We do not ask for your name, your phone number, or anything about your body or mind here. There is no account to create.
The lawful basis
We hold your email address on the basis of your consent — you chose to give it to us by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your choices" below), and we will remove your email.
Who helps us run this site
To keep the website online and the waitlist working, your information passes through a small number of trusted service providers, who process it only to provide their service to us:
- Netlify — hosts this website and receives the tester-list sign-up when you submit the form. Your email address and your answer to the optional question are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us. Netlify is a United States company, so your details may be processed there.
We do not use advertising trackers on this site, we do not run analytics, and we set no cookies. The site's typefaces are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact any font provider.
We never sell your information
We will never sell your email address, and never share it for anyone else's marketing. The only parties who handle it are the service providers above, acting on our behalf to run the waitlist.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until Amra launches, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. You are never stuck on the list.
Your choices and rights
You can, at any time, ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent. Just email social@amratechglobal.com and we will act on it. These choices reflect your rights under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or online service can promise perfect security, so we will not pretend to — but we hold only your email address here, and we treat it with care.
Changes to this notice
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For anything significant, we will do our best to tell the people on the waitlist directly.
